So you would think this one would be similar to the RGT220, right? Well, I've mentioned that the Ash makes the RGT220A sound more trebly, and the Edge Zero tremolo works differently, but that's not all.
In theory, the neck profile is the same, but it's quite different in fact! This one is larger and thicker, and I've struggled a lot with it for months. However, once the action was where I wanted, it became easy to play. If I could define it, this is my "Les Paul" RG; the sound is thick and full of mids, although it has the same pickups as my RGT220, and it's the most stable of my guitars. Yes, maybe it's the Edge Zero once again, but the thick neck doesn't get affected by summer and winter temperatures. That thing doesn't move!
I use it a lot for acoustic sounds, it sounds very, very good! For a while I thought of selling it but I've really changed my mind. That guitar is powerful.
